A combined theme park and water park cast in the mold of a classic Hollywood dream factory. Master planned for a location in Doha, Qatar, Al Kahr is conceived as an amusement park that takes the form of a “Studio Village” featuring sound stages, outdoor sets, a commissary, and a studio store. Al Wakrah, the water park, takes the form of a studio backlot dedicated to action-adventure movies with scenes and stunts shot on rivers, lagoons and the ocean. Rides and attractions in both parks are themed to fit different movie genres and staged as if guests are experiencing them as actors, extras, or stunt performers.
